It's not a race, Gracious1. I've been where I am now since November 25, having not even had enough time to think about what I want to do, let alone actually start doing it. But life will settle down eventually, and the adventure will continue. (And the editors whose categories are being chosen probably don't mind that I'm not adding to the flood of quizzes, anyway.)

Well I've come up with a great title and written a great intro for my second quiz. Now I just need ten questions, ten answers, 30 wrong answers and ten info sections and I'm done. Easy!

I hope so, gracious, otherwise I interpreted the whole thing wrong. But N 2 Z went online early this morning, and I'm done with the vowels, but had another older quiz that needed to get in the Q. Will be glad when my own q is shorter.

gracious1: Based on where I think alexis722 is (based on the quizzes that have been written), I think the first one is but the second one is not. (Alexis722 probably just wanted to finish the set.)

Sure do, Buddy. I had submitted a quiz earlier but it was recategorized and then I forgot, later went back and made another one that I hoped would stay in alphabetics/general, and I'm pretty sure it has. Not sure if the second part will also, but as long as one counts.

It's not the editor's Q that bugs me, it's my own. I get these 'great ideas' at 3 a.m. and write the questions in my head. When I get to the computer, some of the sizzle has gone so the writing goes off in other directions and often leaves me stymied with unfinished stuff - my mission now is to finish every single thing I started.

One thing I always recommend though is to never get hung up on an idea-- I have had templates sitting for ages that I end up shelving. No reason to force an idea if you're not feeling it anymore.

I've done that, and still tend to do it, but find that deleting everything is very freeing in itself and lets that nagging feeling go away.

O, I so messed up! Have I mentioned I'm a little dense...so, maybe nothing counts so far, but now I have a Mission! not to worry, gracious, you're way ahead of me. Not that it's a race...

I had an idea for a quiz on sidekicks and henchmen in detective fiction for, I think, my third quiz. It finally got completely written and online seven years later.

Next quiz submitted! It's been awhile since I've written one.
Okay, maybe three days isn't that long...

I thought my unfinished templates from 2009/2010 had been sitting a long time! I aim to get round to my unfinished ones next off when I finish the current series I'm working on. For some of them, it wouldn't take long, but for some reason they've just been sitting there for a long time!

As for AinA, I've been at this step for 24 days, but I don't mind. The quiz is very slowly coming together, and at least the way I see it is that the challenge will last longer for me, rather than me burning through it and getting it over with relatively quickly!

I've been at mine for five days with only one question complete-- just haven't had the time this week. SOON.

I have my AinA and 2 other quizzes written on paper. Just don't have the time to put them into the template and submit. Why does everyone want to get married in December taking away all my free time? :p

I had been in my last step for about 2 weeks. And now it's time to face the templates I've been avoiding for the last month.

Part of the difficulty is, I wanted to do the Stepping Up challenge, because a particular title spoke to me. But I had already grabbed an Author Challenge because AinA required me to. I thought it spoke to me too, but I have been stuck since Nov. 23, unable to progress because now I wonder if I should have written it in a completely different. I could have abandoned the AinA one, but I was told I wouldn't be able to take it up again, so I tried to plow though. And in the meantime, the title in Stepping Up was snatched up by another player. So that is why I am a little frustrated.

I am on the up and up with quiz number four. What an adventure? It isn't easy writing quizzes sometimes. I hope to have my quiz done soon.
