Is it the entertainment value of the questions? Proving to yourself and others that you know things? Is it beating others in competition?

Do you prefer to just play one type of trivia? (e.g., celebrity or sports?)

Why are we all on this site?

Would LOVE to hear what you guys think! Am a huge trivia fan myself. For me, it's the questions. I like to be entertained

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

I have an idea of the Trivial World as one huge jigsaw puzzle in which all I have to do is collect all the bits, sort them out, assemble them and finally a wonderfully clear picture will emerge and the world will make sense!

I have always loved it. Even from being just a kid in elementary school. My family had a board game called something like, "Go to the Head of the Class," which had a whole book of trivia that went with it. As a fourth grader, I memorized the entire book. :) I just love knowing everything I can and love to learn more.

neobowler I love learning something I didn't know, and then being out and the situation arises where someone is curious about something, and I know it because I play trivia games. That and I'm working up my way to meeting up with Alex Trebek one day.
