Topic: Going on a bit.... and on... and on

Subject: Going on a bit.... and on... and on
Date: Nov 21 12

My partner tells me that I have a bit of a problem with 'elaborating' things and going into far too much detail... She says its intensely annoying! Hmmmmm

Does anyone who has played my quizzes think that my 'I.I.' tends to go on a bit? Or am I now just being paranoid?

A few are quite lengthy, but that's not bad at all. I've definitely seen much longer.

Nothing wrong lengthy II, I've been guilty of that myself. So long as it's relevant to the Q&A I don't see a problem.

lesley153 It all depends on what you mean by too much, and we all have different ideas. We need articulate meteorologists to balance the people who are happy to say "Lovely weather for the ducks."

lesley153 PS I've just done your British Comedy quiz, and I've sent you a note. It's OK, it's not at all scary. :)

Out of interest I've just played the same quiz, scoring one less than lesley (although that's irrelevant to your question).

I feel it's preferable to give comprehensive (relevant)information rather than skimping the detail as happens so often on quizzes.

Fair play to you, I rate the quiz excellent owing to the additional interesting material, except that by returning straight to this thread I completely forgot to rate it at all! ;o)

I know nothing about your quizzes, but if your partner says that you have a problem with 'elaborating' things and going into far too much detail...she is probably right, as far as you are the same character like my husband. When we have an argument, he sticks to something that I utter and consider totally unimportant, but he analyses and analyses...:)

Anyway, nothing to be ashamed of.

if the info is interesting, a bit long is fine...if it's not, keep it short or skip it

I just played "How to Annoy your neighbors" and thought it was really good. Keep up the good work.

I haven't taken any of your quizzes yet, but I'll give you clever points for a quiz titled "How to Annoy Your Neighbors." Too funny!!
