Subject: What Song am I?
Date: Nov 29 12

Following the same rules as the other "What ____ am I" threads, the point of this thread is that you ask yes or no questions until someone guesses the correct song. That same person then chooses the next song.

Fire away!

Please feel free to leave feedback for the site administrators. We will take all feedback into account as we tweak and add new features.
The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

90's female singer?

Not Pink nor Taylor Swift.

Popular in the 90s as well as the early 2000s. Still popular, though she was more known in the late 90s and early 2000s for sure.

Jennifer Lopez-Waiting For Tonight

Not Jennifer Lopez, but much closer to the genre than the other guesses. :) Also, the artist is 10 years or so younger than J-Lo.

Genie in a Bottle?

No, too "pop". R&B is more the style (though it still fits in pop).

Perhaps I should mention...

I may have said this singer was most popular in the late 90s and early 2000s.

However, I did not necessarily say that this particular song was from that time period. I did mention she was still making music. The song is from the late 2000s.

No, it was not a duet.

Hmmm...I have no idea.

Is she Brandy?

Greatguggly The only person I can think of that fits all the criteria is Britney Spears.

It shocks me, Mariamir, that you "don't know" but you are spot on. It is a Brandy song.

Greatguggly No, that's definitely not R&B.

Greatguggly Meant Britney isn't R&B. I don't know a single Brandy song.

Lol...I guessed. That's the point, isn't it? I thought of R&B and "back then" for some reason said, "The Boy Is Mine". And chose Brandy since she's older.

Not "The Boy Is Mine" or "What About Us", but those are two very good songs as well.

No no, several years later than that.

How "several" is "several", lol...

Is it a single?

Yes a single. More than five years later.
