It seems only Yesterday to me when i learnt John Lennon had been murdered. But this year sees the 32 anniversary since we lost a music legend

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Greatguggly A terrible day. I remember "sleep-hearing" the report of the murder on the radio as I woke up. We were on a family vacation at the beach so none of us were watching TV or keeping up with the daily news. I went most of the day thinking the report (which I only heard a short bit of) was some kind of shock jock joke until we heard another report on the car radio. I literally almost vomited.
