Hi,
My son-in-law was impressed by my addiction to FT and my "success", in his view:)- (I consider myself average, by the way), anyway, he gave me a copy of New Cryptic Crosswords by Daily Mail for Christmas because he thought that would be something for me. The other way around - I am lost. It´s too difficult for me. Nevertheless, why not to share some. (I know the answers as they are at the back of the book:))

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

j-zilch Would 26 happen to be Ted in reference to Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure? Don't know what that has to do with "other sound", just a guess.

I had that thought too, j-zilch. I was wondering if there was some British reference I wasn't understanding there. ;)
