Hi,
My son-in-law was impressed by my addiction to FT and my "success", in his view:)- (I consider myself average, by the way), anyway, he gave me a copy of New Cryptic Crosswords by Daily Mail for Christmas because he thought that would be something for me. The other way around - I am lost. It´s too difficult for me. Nevertheless, why not to share some. (I know the answers as they are at the back of the book:))

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Yes indeed, houston. Yes indeed.

But, unlike poor Oliver, I imagine I will get my second helping, plus some. ;)

houston1127 I hope so. I enjoy these, too. Maybe Jolana will be gracious and keep us in a steady supply of puzzles.
