London Underground, commonly called 'The Tube' is now 150 years old. It was the first underground line in the world and inspired other cities to follow suit. Its iconic symbol of a circle crossed by a bar and its innovative map are known planet wide.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

One of the best ideas ever to grace the capital, and accompanied by arguably the most iconic "map" ever drawn.

Do people really believe that the Tube map is the map of London?

Apparently some Londoners visualise the city by the map but know it's not geographically accurate.
