Just watched this on Youtube and was blown away. There they were, the three remaining members of the band, now in their sixties being recognised for being the best ever rock band. Jack Black was funny in the intro and Kid Rock was surprisingly good doing Ramble On. Then The Foo Fighters did Black Dog and Lenny Kravitz did Whole Lotta Love but the final number from The Wilson Sisters who did Stairway to Heaven, with full orchestra and choir had Robert Plant and me in tears. Jason Bonham was on drums and Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were well impressed. They were my favourite band growing up and I never ever thought that they would get such an amazing tribute and that President Obama and his missus would be sitting nodding their heads to the beat of Led Zeppelin.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

Oh well, I must have been mistaken. I thought I would get a confab with some Zepp fans but obviously there are none on this site. How boring. Good job I've joined their official site and can converse with like minded people.
I've given up with FT on the conversation level so I'll say goodbye.

Shiningstar7 Thanks Rambler for sharing. Led Zeppelin IV was my very first LP, awesome that they were honored at the Kennedy Center recently.

I saw that on TV. Was actually the only reason I watched the show in the first place, and they of course waited until the end for Led Zeppelin lol. Worth the wait, though.
