Ok, whats everyone reading now, and how are you liking it, would you recommend it?

I am re-reading Stephen Kings' "The Stand", I read it years ago as a young teen, and it went over my head, so I thought I'd give it another shot, now that Im older and wiser(?). Wish Me Luck! S.

Kiwi_al I am reading, for the first time, Catcher in the Rye by J.D.Salinger. Heard so much about it that I thought I'd better see what the fuss was about.

Me too Kiwi_al. I've just finished it, and while I enjoyed it, I still don't get what all the fuss is about.

Just picked up the first of the "His Dark Materials" trilogy, "Northern Lights". With the movie (The Golden Compass)looking like it's going to one of the school holiday must sees I thought I'd better.

DovBear 'Shantaram' by Gregory David Roberts. I don't think it would have moved me as much if I hadn't just returned from India but that being the case I find this book very very good.
