Ok, whats everyone reading now, and how are you liking it, would you recommend it?

I am re-reading Stephen Kings' "The Stand", I read it years ago as a young teen, and it went over my head, so I thought I'd give it another shot, now that Im older and wiser(?). Wish Me Luck! S.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

twinklingstars Nights in Rodanthe by Nicholas Sparks because I wanted to read the book before seeing the movie on September 26th. With his other novels that became movies, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, and Message in a Bottle, I could not read the book after seeing the movie, no matter how many times I tried. Reading the book first will not leave me disappointed since I can create my own faces for the characters and will not already know what is going to happen before I read it, since reading a book requires more time than watching a movie one wants the ending to be a surprise.

BriannaMontana "The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger" and "Memoirs of a Geisha" are on my reading list this month. Just finished "Jack and Jill" by James Patterson, as well as "Mary, Mary", neither of which lived up to "Along Came a Spider". The "Maximum Ride" series is among my favorites these days, and I can't wait for book #5!

dragonfreak1 I am just finished Talking to Dragons by Patricia C. Wrede about an hour ago and now I'm going to start on White Fang by Jack London. And if anybody needs a suggestion I have one Eragon, Eldest, and Brisingr all by Christopher Paolini. Another good series is Dealing with Dragons, Searching for Dragons, Calling on Dragons, and Talking to Dragons. The whole series is actually called The Enchanted Forest Chronicles.

Congratulations, The Stand is one of the best books, ever. I can't tell you the year that I first read it, but I can tell you that I re-read it every two to three years, and it just gets better every single time.

Finishing up Duma Key, by S. King; definitely worth the $7.99.

Just finished book 2 of the "Twilight" series. Loved it. Seriously considering spending cash for hardback book 3.
