Ok, whats everyone reading now, and how are you liking it, would you recommend it?

I am re-reading Stephen Kings' "The Stand", I read it years ago as a young teen, and it went over my head, so I thought I'd give it another shot, now that Im older and wiser(?). Wish Me Luck! S.

The old reply to thread function was removed because it got to the point where people weren't even reading the announcements and assuming, by default, that they were somehow being wronged or forgotten or insulted or abused or cheated out of something in some manner.

HannahConner88 My favorite book in all the world; The Princess Bride. Third time this year, every couple months I crave it!

Hannah, I love the movie which I have seen several times but I have never read the book, although I have it on my shelf. I should start it.

HannahConner88 On your shelf! That breaks my heart a little. I once bought a raggedy copy of A Clockwork Orange from a sale at the Salvation Army just so they wouldn't throw it out. (The cover fell off before I got it home, but it's on my shelf- in a different way though; I treasure it). If you ever do read The Princess Bride, I'd love to hear your opinions and thoughts on the book (even if it's a year from now, mail me; I'll remember this):)

Hannah, I tried to read A Clockwork Orange one time but could never get into it. I checked it out from the library and not only did I not read it, but I lost it. To this day I can't use my library card.
