Saturday Night TV
OK, I just fancy rambling into what is in store for the British public this Saturday night on the box. I must say, the license fee, (which thankfully am too young to need to pay for as yet,) seems to be wasted as the BBC's output for tomorrow night is as usual, poor.
Yes, they have Strictly Come Dancing which is ok sometimes, but then after that?
National Lottery 1 Vs. 100 with Dermot O' Leary. Is it just me or does he look bored? The show itself isn't very good and I would much prefer to see Winning Lines with Phillip Schofield reappear. Then they will most probably show some repeat from 1998.
Now ITV - absolutely fab at the moment.
The X - Factor, great, sadistically I like to see people's "talent," get mocked and in the later stages, the singing actually becomes worthy of one's attention. Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?. I still love this show, but it does seem to be losing its appeal week by week. A man just recently won the big £1,000,000, clever chap. The question was something about who strikes a gong at the start of certain films and I can't even remember then answer, never mind.
Then we have THE must watch show this Saturday, Afterlife!!! It is so good it is actually going to be aired across the pond sometime in the future on BBC America. Admittedly the present series is not as good as the first but it beats anything the BBC have to offer. Channel 4 and Five on Saturdays aren't even worth mentioning, although Five have been given the rights to the premier showings of 'The Da Vinci Code,' on British television - things maybe looking up :O Incroixable! Indeed.
Ramble over,
Jon
