True Friends
I need some answers. My friend is really mad at me. There was a dance on Friday and after school, her ex and I went to the lake and just hung out, but she thinks that we are going out behind her back. I tried to tell her that I would never do that to her, but she doesn't believe me. Her ex is my friend, and nothing more. If you were in my shoes, what would you tell her? I really don't want this to end our friendship. I don't know what to do.

I would tell her exactly what you said. Just tell her honestly "I'm not going out with him behind your back. I would never do that. We're just friends even ask him if your not sure."

I am not sure I understand exactly - this is about your friend's "EX"? Or are they still together?
In any case, if you really care about not losing her frienship, I would suggest you avoid 'pairing up' with her ex (or actual) for a while.
If it's in a group OK, but not going places just the two of you. That is IF you want to spare your friend's feelings and you wish to keep your friendship alive and well.

try to get her ex to talk to her and tell her that ur not goin out with him and hopefully u might be friends again.
