Denni's survey
What was the first book that left a lasting impression?
I think the first book which left a lasting impression on me, not surprisingly, was a Agatha Christie one. And it has to be "And Then There Were None" (known as other titles too). It was a really thought provoking book!
Which book would you recommend to a teenager reluctant to try literature?
See above, the book which made a lasting impression!
When was the last time you laughed?
Can't remember!
Which contemporary author do you think will still be read in 100 years time?
I think I'd said J. K. Rowling. She has made a wonderful (in my opinion) series of books, and encouraged people to start reading again
What were you doing at 8 am today?
On the computer, having a look on Funtrvia, before going to college
Flip to page 21, paragraph 2 in the book closest to you right now, what does it say?
"Fits, doesn't it?" he said. "Remember what Malfoy said on the train being friends with Karkaroff? Now we know where they knew each other...."
("Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by J. K. Rowling)
What is the most romantic thing a girl/guy has ever done for you?
Can't remember!
If you could invite three fictional couples to your own house for dinner, who would they be?
Lets see
Jane Marple and Hercule Poirot (not exactly couples, but they sort of go together!)
Harry Potter and Hermione Granger
and the other fictional couples, wouldn't have a clue!
Do you sleep with your bedroom door open or closed?
Half open, so that I can hear any unexpected telephone calls.
What is your current desktop picture?
Just about to change it. Probably be about Harry Potter

2 Comments:
Thank you, Jane, for taking my survey.
Agatha Christie is a great author, she's my favourite among her kind. Or is she one of a kind? :)
I agree on Harry's 'mother' as being the one whose work could last for a century.
