Maniac with a vacuum
My roommate is maniacally cleaning our room while I'm trying to study for my last exams. I thought I'd come online for a while, and then study. Not if she has anything to say about it. She claims that this is the only chance she has to clean the floor in the next few days, and this involved tearing everything off the floor--under the bed, under the desk, in the corner, under the shelves, in the closet--and roaring around with the vacuum seventeen times AFTER the floor is clean. She's tearing the room apart and demanding to know who owns everything while I'm trying to study for my exam.
Now I'm out in the hallway, where it's cold and miserable, and every passerby can stop to talk to me while I'm trying to memorize my outlines and facts and quotations. :P
You know, all she had to do was switch jobs with me, since I could vacuum tomorrow after everything was put away by its owner...

Well, sometimes people just have this nerve to ALWAYS clean. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you, although I hope that you an finish your studying in peace. After she gets everything clean, I'm sure that it'll be awhile before it happens again.

I presume you told your roommate that she was disturbing your study. If that's the case, that's downright inconsiderate of her. Anyone would expect the courtesy of being able to study in peace in a college dorm.

I have been cleaning my room these days too :)
It was a real mess and I wanted to clean everything before I return to my parents' for Christmas. Washing, cleaning and scrubbing was on a daily basis... but I didn't react like a maniac about it... sounds to me like your roommate is a bit obsessed when it comes to cleaning :D
