Why aren't mint Club biscuits made with plain chocolate anymore, when I was a lad I used to enjoy one with my school lunch, but nowadays they have replaced the plain chocolate with milk which is very wrong indeed. While I'm on the subject, I was also wondering if they make Trios anymore?

You know what, I used to love Trios. I remember the theme tune with the obnoxious little girl. And where the hell is Christine? Women keep falling out of my shrubbery, but they all seem to be Margarets.

They have all but ruined Club biscuits, they used to be a staple part of my diet but no longer. Most were chocolate over a finger cream biscuit with varying filling. These are still made, but for whatever reason are no longer inside Clubs.
Plain, orange, lemon (red covering) and raisin (not so nice) were the usual originals, with mint coming later, and rarities such as wafers being added at times.
But who remembers Sports biscuits? We had these blue wrapped chunky efforts at school but rarely saw them elsewhere. Haven't seen Trios for a long time either. Maybe why I've managed to lose weight in the last few years... Just saw your profile, when was Bristol in Somerset?

Which ones were Trios anyway? Were they the kind of weird caramel flavoured things? I like Viscounts.

Yes Trios were caramel, and they were tasty good. Bristol seems to have moved slightly down on the map, funtrivia seems to think it's in Somerset for some reason.

I don't like it when they make new counties without telling anyone. My bus pass doesn't work to get to York anymore because some smart Alec made it into it's own county.
I got my own back, though. Wait till the see what I did in the Tesco's car park.

Clubs were great, but Trios were better. I liked United bars too...
