My Life:

I'm Proud of It! :))

Name:cool klutz

it's school season again.... i hate it....

hey people... what a drag... i'm returning to school next week, and it's gonna be bittersweet... more bitter than sweet, actually..

don't get me wrong, i reeaally love going to school, but when i went there the other day to get my books, the quadrangle was such a mess!!! imagine seeing a huge mound of dirt in the place where the canteen and the stage used to be... isn' t that devastating for a student who schooled there for almost eight years, who's used to seeing the kickball field and basketball court overrun by fellow students (now it's trampled on by two lumbering bulldozers..)??!!

not to mention that the iced tea booth's gone... i usually have it with pizza (tripled from the usual size...)for snacks... i can feel a student revolution brewing in the school.... all the people i know are enraged(before, they cancelled supplying junk foods, and now this??!).... and who wouldn't be when they transferred our canteen to the already cramped first graders' classroom??! where do they expect those kids to have lessons while we're eating???

while i don't have any problem with my classroom, the fourth year high school students are rumored to be having their lessons at the old building rooftop this year... no problem, except that the roof's quite unstable for another floor to be built on... the school was almost burnt to ashes when the fire from the market broke out... i was in grade three back then... the roof of the third floor still leaks when it  rains...  and  think  of those poor girls... they're the last batch without  boys, they should be treated like royalty... (in my opinion only...)

don't think that i'm pessimistic... i just remember a lot on how well the school was handled by the ICM sisters before the fire... the archdiocese just sorta threw the old ladies out the back door... and while the nuns were very domineering, the new director lets himself be commanded upon by a sleazy old hag(our principal) who's rumored to be flirting with him... (i'm not sure if it's true, but it's still one of the biggest gossips circulating about in the school... that they were dating during valentines day in a restaurant near the school...)

yeah, well i think i would've been better off in CIC... but then, that school's full of flirts and airheads... i'd rather be in saint joseph's where there're brains all about... though the facilities are not what you'd call user-friendly, the quality of the education here is one of the best... i'm happy to have known sensible people here... myself included... hehehe....

live on, saint jo, no matter how bad your principals or directors are, you still have the whole student-teacher community behind you...

i still can't take the way our director is turning our school into something less productive....

  • Hey, my school is in pretty bad shape as well. The elementary AND high school are being renovated, so the school designed for grades 6-8 now holds grades 5-9. I feel like I'm trapped in a cage some of the times.

  • Well, here in the Northern Hemisphere, I'm just finishing what you're about to start: Sophomore Year! Personally, it's been 90°F (32°C) here the last couple of days, summer is really here, and I hate summer.... But at the same time, vacation is always cool. Are you taking any interesting classes? Have friends to look forward to? Look on the bright side of things. School can't really bad that bad (like you're making it seem).
