I'm  sitting here reflecting on the irony of having air conditioning now that I'm back in Canada, when for nineteen years in the south of Spain I managed to survive without it! I didn't have ceiling fans there, either - here I do. The A/C and fans came with the house when I bought it, I doubt if I would have bothered having either installed had that not been the case.

The A/C guys have just been here giving the unit its spring check up and cleaning, so roll on summer!
