A new quiz of mine has been placed online!  It is in the War in Movies category, in Movies.  Click on the link below to play it, and feel free to leave comments!

    British War Films (10 questions)
War films made by British studios tend to be less glamorous and often more realistic than those made in Hollywood. Here are a few questions about five of these movies, all made in the 1950s. See how much you can remember.

  • Thanks. I've now got the Dambusters theme tune stuck in my head and feel the urge to organise a street party.

  • Any British war movie that has Anthony Quayle, John Mills, Jack Hawkins or Michael Redgrave is a must see. A couple of good old black and whites were "One of our aircraft is missing" and "The Foreman went to France".

  • I so agree with you bennie! Do you know if either of those are available on DVD? I'm trying to build up my collection.
