Ok this is a poem I wrote a couple years ago for a poetry cantest. Tell me if you like it!!

The Way My Day Has Been

I woke up this morning

And got out of bed.

I fell to the floor

And hit my head.

I went downstairs

To brush my hair.

I changed my clothes

And blew my nose.

I went downstairs to get some food.

My dad could tell I was in a bad mood.

My brother spit on me,

And it wasn't cool.

So when I got to school,

I was called a fool.

I failed my Math Test.

My English Test, too!

Because the girl behind me kept yelling "BOO!"

I turned around and told her to be quiet,

But my teacher told me not to cause a riot.

I went to the principal's office that day,

And got out only one way.

I told him how my day had been.

I told him I just couldn't win.

He said tomorrow would be better,

As long as it didn't rain,

And I didn't get wetter.

I went home and took a shower.

I was in there for an hour!

My mom got mad

And told me it was bad.

I just shrugged my shoulders

And walked away.

I decided to tell her some other day.

I just went ot bed,

Without being fed,

And thought about the way my day had been.

The day that I just couldn't win.

Ever since then it's been O.K.

Ever since that terrible day.
