Valentines day has come and gone

Well cupid has left the building for another year.  Hope all had an arrow blast them this year.  Odd year----actually ended up with a date----which I didnt expect, but I am not complaining.  Now its time to move forward on life fronts, and see what is in the cards.  If you didnt know---I get older on Sunday----The AARP creeps ever so much closer...birthdays are no big deal anymore.  I stopped celebrating them.  Just go find the best restaurant with a good freebie.  Thats it.  Have a great couple of days-----work will keep  me away.

  • Happy birthday a day early. Jerry. On this end of the birthday gig, I have instructions to make my daughter a big cake with RED frosting with a black and white checkerboard interior. {This ought to keep me out of trouble for a few hours]
I would make one for you too, but can you imagine what the US mail would do to such a creation in transit?? It would look like the homocide of an innocent boardgame...

  • Hiya Jerry. Did the AARP thing almost 10 years ago, then canceled. I too no longer do birthdays. My brain still thinks I am young, thats what counts.
Funtrivia keeps the brain cells activated :)

Ahhh Valentines Day. The day I make a big heartshaped Jello Ice-Cream mold. Tradition. Cupids dart hit me 36 years ago and it's never left.

Happy Birthday to you. Just think of it this way. You will only be one day older on Sunday than you were on Saturday. I hope only good things are "in your cards" for the coming year.

  • Just in case I forget on Sunday, I'll have to tell you now that I hope you have a wonderful day on your birthday and, of course, every day. Cupids Day netted me a beautiful ruby heart necklace from hubby which was quite a surprise since it was so out of character for him. It was a nice day.
