For Lack of a Better Title

Recently I found out that there is something new I can do with my hair that, surprisingly, doesn't look too bad. I used this nifty little things called rag curlers, and the day after my hair looks really nice.

Interesting.

Guys are confusing sometimes. Like, when they start teasing you a lot about stuff like your clumsiness or that you are short, does it mean it's because they like you or because they really do find it annoying that you're clumsy or short? I wish that it would be the same for all guys, but, as untrue as it may seem, guys have very complex minds.

You can stop laughing now.

Thirty-four days of school left, then, finally, summer's here. I'm SO looking forward to it. Free time, no homework, warm weather (HOPEFULLY), and hanging out with friends.

Did I mention that when I came to school today, the trees in front were toilet-papered and "CLASS OF '07 RULES" was written in - shaving cream? - across the glass window that covers one wall of the cafeteria? Pretty lame prank if you asked me. They had it cleaned up in about two hours. Someone suggested that they fork the lawn instead - you know, stick hundreds, probably thousands of white plastic forks into the grass so they stuck up. Now, THAT would be funny.

  • I understand what you mean about guys. They really are confusing.

I like your Forking idea. Maybe I'll use it for my senior prank hear in washington. If you have any other ideas, feel free to message me.

  • I am short...5'1"...I never got teased much in highschool for being short, but I took charm classes when I was a teen in Chicago back in the '60s. in a nutshell, just try to keep your chin up, and dont slouch...and smile alot .
In grade school I was always the smallest in school so I got pushed around alot.

Rag curlers...is that something new you can buy? I recall way back when girls used rag strips to curl their hair with or pin curls w/bobby pins, and something called sponge rollers. We also had brush rollers....those things hurt when you slept on them.
The things girls do to make us pretty, huh? I am glad yours turned out nice.

As far as boys laughing because you trip....that never changes. Girls are more mature than boys at your age...they do grow up eventually LOL.
When I tripped, I would laugh at myself and never looked embarrassed in front of anyone. They look for your reaction...if you look upset or they have gotten to you, they know they have a mark. Thats the way it was years ago for me, and I dont think those things have changed alot.

Shaving cream and toilet paper...dont tell me that hasnt changed either ~ thats an old prank.
Wouldnt forks be kind of dangerous if someone should trip? I never heard of that prank before. Hey...you only have a few months left of school and time will fly now :) ~Joanie~
