Wow - a regular cornucopia of nations! The 'How to Speak Southern' sounds especially interesting. Is it a serious book, or like Jeff Foxworthy's "You Might Be a Redneck"?

Actually, those came in very handy. We had vacationed down south a few times, and I had to translate what people were saying to my hubby ~ at gas stations, restaurants, people we asked directions from etc. My grandmother from 'dem hills raised me, and it all comes back like riding a bike. When I found those books down in Tennessee, I knew I had to get them. It may be an interesting quiz to make someday, ya think? ~Joanie~
