The Case of the Swiss Chocolates [eew!]

Just my bad luck. My uncle had been to the UK. He toured London. He brought back a big box of Swiss Chocolates for me. I was delighted. Genuine Swiss Chocolates are a rarity in India. The box was nice, big and tied around with a nice red ribbon. I slipped open the ribbon, lifted the lid:

only to find all the chocolates--melted!!!
That should've been expected. With temperatures soaring well above 35 C or 95 degree F in India, that was expected, but I didn't expect that. I was too excited for the chocolates.
The melted chocolate was strewn all over the box and my hopes drowned! I couldn't think of anything else do with them, I put them in the freezer, hoping it would solidify and I could break pieces of chocolate off the box and eat them later!

  • That's exactly what I do when I get chocolates that have melted. It may not be as pretty, but it tastes just as good.

  • Sorry to hear about your candies! I like having premade emoticons but I guess I will to deal with making my own. I love linkin park too btw!
