Doomsday!
The doomsday is fast approaching! Rather, it's just round the corner. I can feel it knocking on my front door.
Doomsday? What exactly is this? Oh well...for me, doomsday is the RESULT DAY!
I had just given my grade 10 examinations, which finished by something around the end of March. And now the time has come for the results to be out. The result day aka DOOMSDAY, is the 29th of May, 2008. It is this day that the results of grade 10 students for the final examination would be announced at the national level. Students all over India have to give this examination in grades 10 and 12, to secure the secondary and higher education certificate, which later guarantees admission in colleges and is really necessary when applying for a job.
We were tested on the following subjects:
1) Mathematics
2) Physics
3) Chemistry
4) Biology
5) English
6) Hindi
7) History
8) Geography
9) Economics
10) Political Science
11) Disaster Management
Now it's time for the ultimate, the wait for the result begins. I expect a good score, cuz the papers were fairly easy.
Await the next post on what happens when you score good marks in these examinations and what happens when you fail these examinations....what the scenario is in India regarding these examinations.
Until then, let's hope for the best. Pray for me, people!!

Disaster management!?
I did a double take when I read that, but when I think about it, it's the sort of thing more of us should learn about.
