I'm reading it at the moment. Nearly finished it, it's SO AWESOME!! It makes me cry, it's so sad Mia and Michael broke up :(

Any way, as much as I love the book, one thing really annoys me. The attack on emo (YET AGAIN). Two reasons:

1) Boris states his hate for emo, especially My Chemical Romance. He has his opinion and I'm allowed to completely disagree, but MCR aren't even emo!!!!

2) Quote:

"I don't WANT to be that girl. The crying, emo girl. Next thing you know, I'll start wearing skinny jeans and too much black eyeliner and nail polish and read vampire romance novels"

I can't glance a newspaper, read my favourite magazine, listen as my mom watches the news or even read a discussion board on the internet, with out being reminded half the world hates me based on how I dress. I can't leave the house without a comment or a dirty look. But now I can't even sit in my room and read my favourite book with out being told I s*ck. Reading 'vampire romance novels' or not.

Fair enough, she has her opinion, (I don't particularly want to be Mia Thermopolis), but why the attack on emo again? Can't she not want to be something a little less slandered by the media, let alone the world.
