Global lying and a visit to Harrow

Today was the first in a series of free days again, and got a lot of little things done adding up to quite an amount. I did the Harrow trip I missed last week and got loads of views of the school and the view from the hill like these.

After more food shopping I started on the housework, washing up (a rare event), watched a video I'd filmed and left at my grandma's by accident and tried to make an online map of all my road signs so I could print it out. A total waste as it only shows a selection of pictures at any one time, total hour down the drain. I got the two world quiz badges in my mailbox today as well after wondering if a score of 16 would keep me at the top all night, which it luckily did. I put in the same today and was top half way through the day again. Tomorrow I may make another local video as they've become quite popular, I should do Harrow again but not two days running.

Any more than that will remain a mystery till tomorrow but another spare day has been used well with no previous planning, as I hope the next will as well. I don't feel like driving to Blackheath for the latest sign, especially as the normal route is charged 5 days a week. I'll leave it on the back burner in case I feel ambitious but at least I've got the much rarer one in Bromley as it was on a much easier route. I've added the latest green taxes in the not the nine o clock news forum, how everyone else didn't see this coming as I did is a mystery and a tragedy to me. It's no different from a burglar wearing a stripy shirt and a mask, it really wasn't camouflaged at all. If you eat meat you are affected as that is the next commodity after fuel to be taxed for global bloody warming. I'm not exaggerating but it's no different from blaming everything on the Jews by the Nazis. If they can blame us for global warming next they'd have completed the job.

  • I think taxing food that is unhealthy is the next step here. On the sneaky government.

  • Shhh - don't let anyone hear you say that. Nazis are all around us still, but they don't call themselves that any more, and most of them aren't even German. Last time I looked, you couldn't buy Mein Kampf in English, but you can buy it in Arabic from half the newspaper kiosks in London. Of course this may be another urban myth but I doubt it.

  • Taxing food is lower than any totalitarian regime in the past and worthy of Mugabe. Maybe he's also behind the global warming stories as well?

  • I heard that a soda pop in California that has sugar in it costs two cents more than if you bought the diet soda. That'll teach 'em! Just a start to Obamacare! Bring it on!

  • The slight problem there is if they have aspartamine in the diet version it won't make you fat but will turn into formaldehyde and attack all your organs sooner or later. I'll stick with nature...
