Getting better.
Thanks to everyone for your comments. I'm feeling better about things today. I'm going to pull a childish stunt and I hope noone thinks too much less of me for it. Jason and I have had tickets to Rob Zombie for months. I thought they were for the first weekend in December. Double checked the tickets last week and they are for tonight. I was going to ask if I could change my days off but that was one of the days that Linda tore into me. I decided I wasn't going to make the effort to be nice about it so I decided that I'd call in sick. Been having second thoughts about it but she had another go at me this morning so I'm not really feeling bad anymore. I know it's petty and childish and wrong in so many ways but I really feel the need to strike back in some small manner. At least I'm going to call. I was contemplating a no call - no show but figured at least this way there will be some small question of if I'm really sick or just throwing a tantrum.
Jason is going to be a little more big headed than usual. He passed the MENSA test. I think he was somewhere on cloud nine when he went to work this morning. I told him if he's still like this in six months my reaction will be "Yes dear, we know, now shut up."
It's supposed to be in the mid-70's here for the enxt few days so I'm thinking of playing outside while I still can.
Thanks again all!
Hope you are well and have a happy day.

Does your union know that you are working in a hostile environment, namely Linda?
Have fun and enjoy the warm weather while you can.

No honey but I am documenting it. If she tries to dicipline me I will get the union involved.

I hadn't heard of Rob Zombie but I found a YouTube video of Dragula and they look like fun. I imagine you're there by now and I hope you're having a whale of a time. Petty and childish and wrong? Nah. Never!
How about forewarning the union? She might be short-sighted and vindictive enough to think that disciplining you would be clever, and I can't see any harm in putting your case to the union first. Or just letting them know that your are working in a hostile environment.
Congratulations, Jason. You're allowed to be on Cloud 9 for 24 hours, and then you must never mention it again.

How were Rob and his Zombies?
Lively, I hope.
Sorry, Rayven, but I could not resist.
Hugs.

LOL. They were great. Two encores. And the opener was good too. Take rock, metal, big band and country, put them in a blender and you've got Captain Clegg. He was almost Voltaireish.
