Secret Garden Dreams
Tread the pathway deftly
through dell and pasture bright
Oer ancient bridge of stone
to ford the mossy creek bank
embracing morning light
The hillock beckons
more to see
beyond a gnarled Mulberry tree
A secret hidden garden
of my dreams
calls out to me
Enter through the hedgerow, broken
to chance on dreams of comfort
And embrace what feelings
lie in solace, ripe with wonder
respite, a thirsty soul
A familiar spell Im under
Ivied walls capture dappled light
forging through the unkept
canopy of promise overgrown
I find peace in simple sentiments
of my secret garden
And the dreams,
of all its yesterdays,
Im shown

Excellent! I always wonder, where to cut off the line? Know what I mean? Sometimes I write, but I don't want it to look silly, so I don't post. Just keep it to my 'book.'
