this is an... EHH wednesday
I'm sitting here typing up something for school and drinking a bottle of Evian water, because I felt like spending 1.49 for a regular-sized bottle of water that should only cost a dollar. It's actually pretty good... it even tastes a little different from normal water.
I'm trying something that has worked for my mother - stopping all food consumption past 6 or 7 at night. She has apparently dropped 10 pounds or more in the last - I dunno, month, I think. So I'm doing the same. It's easier than I expected, so far. I just drink a lot of water and Crystal Light so that I'm still putting something in my mouth, haha. And gum too. How late do you guys tend to eat? Any other tricks that have helped you lose weight (if you've been trying)?
Three out of my five (more like four) finals were today: English, Health, and History. English was over Julius Caesar, and was the most challenging of the day, even though it hardly was at all. Health was a joke - that's the most blowoff class I've ever taken. The final was 18 fill in the blank questions over an article from a magazine. (We got to use the magazine.) History was just as easy - we had a study guide last week that she gave us all the answers to (yeah - middle school much?), and the test was the EXACT STUDY GUIDE, in multiple-choice form. All I had to do was look for the answer I'd written down.
Two left - Algebra II and Bio. Our math teacher has a rule that you don't have to actually take the final if you've kept an A all year in his class, so I basically write my name on it, turn it in, and he'll give me my average for the year on the final (96-97, I believe). Which is good, because it means I only have one final to worry about on Friday and Monday.
If all of my other classes are on the "so-easy-I-could-cry" extreme, Bio is on the other. To make it worse, she never tells us what's going to be on the midterm or final (or any test, really). So I don't know what to study for. We're allowed to make a "study guide" - ONE PAGE, front and back - to keep with us for the test. But you basically have to summarize the whole year's notes in very tiny handwriting to make sure it's all on there. Grrrr. And there's also a practical portion of the final, which - again - she didn't tell us anything about. I'm just hoping I do well enough to keep an A in the class. >.<

The calories in protein will keep you feeling fuller for longer than the same number of calories in fat or carbohydrate. Don't skip breakfast, or let yourself get ravenously hungry, lest you be drawn to cream cakes and doughnuts.
Yes, Evian's good. Annoying, isn't it?
