And Dings Such as Dat

In honor of the possible name-post series and Top of the Week Trivia, I give you this part of Funtrivia.

Today is Jay Leno's last episode on the Tonight Show. I got hooked on Jay about 2 years ago, and since then I have seen 95% of the episodes since. Thanks to Tivo and NBC.com, watching Jay is so much easier. I feel bad that Jay is leaving, but it's not like he is leaving. I just feel bad for Conan because I personally think that he will fail as the new host. I just hope that Jay won't fail from being at 10 o'clock.

And now for three puzzles.

What is the inspiration of this blog post's title?

What do the four speaking characters in Act I, Scene III of Julius Caesar have in common?

What do these items have in common: Arrow, question mark, chest, faucet, ring, car, policeman, light bulb, locomotive?

  • "Headlines" was my favorite sketch on the show it doesn't really feel like he's going away since he does have his 10:00 show in the fall. I actually think Conan is funnier then Jay, maybe a bit more enthusiastic too. As for everyone else liking Conan it may take some time but I don't think it will be a failure. "The Tonight Show" is such a big name in American TV it just won't go away and "Late Night with Conan O'Brein" had decent ratings for 12:35 am I have faith in him just as long as he kept the Max Weinburg 7, now Jimmy Fallon hosting late night that's going to be a bust. I'm not so sure about this 10:00 show though. That timeslot is either an awful Primetime slot or a great late night slot. NBC right now is losing in the ratings to both CBS and FOX, FOX doesn't even have shows at 10:00, so I'm not so sure if this is going to work out everyday. Maybe it should just be on Thursday nights with NBC's other comedies I think that's the best time for it. Even though it doesn't feel like it's the end of Leno the torch is being passed down in late night next question is when is Letterman going to leave?
