Geography Question of the Day 5
Sorry about not posting a question for a few days. I have been gone on a trip to a city. For the question today, can you guess what city this is?
The clues of what city I'm in are below:
- I am visiting this city because I am receiving an award at one of the largest universities in the United States, whose mascot is the wildcat and was founded in 1851.
- While I am in this city, I might take a boat ride on a large great lake, in fact, part of the largest lake system in North America.
- While I am in this city, I may also see some other sites, including Jackson Park, the site of the 1893 world fair. Let's hope I don't get blown away!
Good luck with today's question!
The answer to Day 3's question was the Tagus River divides Portugal into roughly two areas. (See the 1994 winning U.S. national geography bee question.) Congratulations to doublemm, the first player to answer it right!
The answer to Day 4's question was that EEZ stands for Exclusive Economic Zone. (See the 1992 winning U.S. national geography bee question.) Congratulations to rayven80, the first player to correctly answer it!
Good luck with today's question, and most of all, have fun!
