Settling In
I am still sleeping a good portion of the day, which makes me feel older than my years, but am staying up for slightly longer stretches each day. The cat has gone back to whatever it is cats do with themselves when we can't see them, but he always comes immediately if I call him. He still spends a nice chunk of my awake time on the arm of the chair next to me, 'chatting' and tossing the computer mouse to the floor.
My mom and her husband are in Wisconsin and will be here tomorrow night. I will time my meds so I am not too groggy and can go out to enjoy our customary steak dinner. Both of my daughters will be there, too, so I am really looking forward to it!

Sleeping's not about age, it's about healing. You're healing. It's good!
I'm glad your family's flooding in. Have a beautiful day with them.
