Bacon
I'm sorry to all who I confused. This occured during Dragonfest and I thought I'd posted it.
We were making dinner over the fire, boiling potatoes and grilling bratwerst. Decided we'd add some bacon to dinner so I got the skillet, put a couple of pieces of bacon in it and put it over the coals. Promptly sat down and started reading again. Jason turned the bacon, sat down and promptly started reading again. Next thing I know he's pulling the skillet, the contents of which are on fire, off the grate. The results were disturbing. Scorched and burnt are too mild of words to describe what happened to the bacon. We did agree it was both our faults. So now it's a great joke.
Note to everyone who cooks over an open fire: PUT THE BOOK DOWN!!!

Ha! Pretty funny, actually! Glad it wasn't serious...;)

Aah - all becomes clear. Probably serious for the skillet. I don't suppose it survived?

Nope. It was a resounding disaster. I took a picture. Mom said "I didn't know bacon could do that.".

Have you still got the picture?

I've still got it. I told Mom to use it as a teaching aid for her new Girl Scout troop on what not to do.

Can you post the picture here before you hand it over?
