Happy Birthday to me!
Jason made reservations months ago for us to spend the night of my birthday at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. I wanted my family to try Lucille's so we decided the weekend before my birthday we'd all go to breakfast and do my birthday that day. So last Sunday we went to breakfast. We got the waitress that Jason and I always get, she's very good and knows what we order so it was a very nice breakfast. Then we went to the house while Mom and Brianna went to pick up my cake. We told my aunt all about Dragonfest, including the melted bacon ( I told you all about that right?) and then they gave me presents. I got several books, movies, and and Jason gave me a lovely new display case. It's the thing he went to Denver to get that's been living in Mom's back bedroom for months. Mom was slightly distressed that she didn't have anything for my actual birthday but I told her that I got everything I asked for and I had a wonderful day. We went to the Stanley Tuesday night. There were some hiccups that started with Jason calling me that morning to say his car was dead and he needed a ride the rest of the way to work. So I went, took him to work, went home to take care of a few things, then since the Stanley is moderatly pricey, changed clothes and went to pick him up. He was very suprised when he saw that I was in my good clothes. So we went, checked in and changed. Then went to dinner and went back to wander the hotel. It's very nice. I took pictures of the view, which was okay. They actually didn't have the room he'd requested so we got an upgrade for no extra charge. The next day we went to breakfast then left to deal with his car. Had it towed to a local shop and I loaned him mine until it gets fixed.
I'd have to say that this is in the top birthdays of all time. Other things are a little iffy but I'm not going to ruin this with thoughts of them.
Have a happy day!

I love having birthday celebrations that last for a week and yours celebrations sound happy and very special.
I used to have little gremlins creep up on me at birthday time - then I learnt to just push them away because That was Last Year! :)
Happy Birthday Rayven!
