It's starting to get chilly when I get up to go to work so it's put me in "get ready for fall" mode. I've got a to-do list going and I'm hoping to get most of it done this weekend so my sister and I can focus on doing wood. She actually likes to use Mom's chop saw so it's good for both of us. 

We actually have things growing in the garden. Next time I start things in the house, I need to be more careful how I label things. The cucumber I thought I had turned out to be a pumpkin which is now taking over the grapes, tomatoes and some of the cabbage. We've got a couple jalapenos, which my aunt wants to make jelly out of, tons of cabbage, a couple zuchinni, summer squash, pumpkins, green beans, onions, potatoes, and gourds. The gourds came up volunteer and are now attempting to take over the apple tree again.

Chloe got to ride in the new car yesterday. She could barely move so it was decided it was time. The boys are wandering around looking kinda lost. The new kitty got out a couple days ago. Dad found him though so he's locked in the back bedroom with windows he can't get out of.

I ordered Jason's Christmas presents yesterday. I figured it's only fair to do it early since he's got 2 of mine sitting in his room.

The Rockies are still doing pretty good, although every time the announcers mention "Postseason" we lose. So we've still got our fingers crossed that we'll make it but, being a realistic fan, I'll wait until the end of September to see.
