A New 'Little Buddy'
Well, I am home. It was a long afternoon. They did an EKG and found a heart murmur which is probably nothing serious, but they sent me home with a lovely little portable monitor that is my new best friend for the next thirty days. When I get the fluttering again, I press record and it makes this high-pitched, eardrum-shattering sound for about 30 seconds. Bubba will go nuts! But this, too, shall pass.

Ooo a pet Halter Monitor - I 've had one of those for irregular heartbeat - turned out fine and the doctor was sure it was the result of a virus.
Good to see you're being looked after Beth.
I'm sure all will be well. :)

What is the name of your new best friend for 30 days?
Is the noise really ear-shattering? I hope not.
Hopefully, this will help figure out why your heart is fluttering.
Good wishes, Beth. I am glad you told the doctor.

It is very loud and high-pitched. While it won't really shatter ear drums, it just might cause the cat to bite me...!

I hope not - you don't need teeth-marks!
Have you introduced your NBF to Alice? I hope it isn't putting Alice's nose out of joint.
And is there any pattern to the flutters, or are they random?

The first flutter happened when I sat down after sweeping the kitchen floor. The other three times, it happened when I was lying down. So it doesn't appear to be exertion, at least not entirely.
