Salesman "J"...
Thanks to everyone who commented and gave me support on the rude, rude and grrrr blog post, I appreciate it very much!
Have some good news to share:
Salesman "J" has been fired. Yipppeeee!!
The very next day after the salesman "J" incident, the owner of business "X"'s son showed up at my office, and spoke to Chef Perrier, myself and my controller, and advised me that due to a morals clause in salesman "J"'s contract, which neither he nor his mother realised that their lawyer had put in place, salesman "J" is no longer employed with business "X".
I was so happy that my controller said he never seen me smile so much, but Chef Perrier said unfortunately, sorry is not enough, and while he understands that salesman "J" is gone, he is still more than a bit upset that business "X" would hire someone like that, especially since they were given information pertaining to how salesman "J" really was/is.
The owner of business "X"'s sone assured Chef Perrier, that nothing like that will ever happen again, and to prove it business "X" has decided to give Chef Perrier's Le Bec Fin a ten thousand dollar credit, and to give me anything that I want within reason. I really do not want anything, just knowing that he is gone is good enough for me. :)
Ah, how sweet it is. :)
Thanks everyone for the support...you all are the best!

Hurray! He is gone. He did not deserve the position anyway.
I am so extremely happy for you and Chef Perrier and Le Bec Fin.
Well done, Agnes. I bet the next time the owner of "X" receives advice, she will take it seriously.
Have a beautiful weekend. I can just see you smiling with relief. A major pain is gone and you will not have to deal with him again.

That's great news, Agnes and it seems his attitude DID bite him in the back end - quicker than I expected. Have a great weekend, you deserve it!

Yes, yippee, with knobs on. That is wonderful news.
I just love a happy ending. :D
Hugs!

That's great. It's so nice to see people get what they deserve. This may be petty, but hopefully people in the business will hear of this and he will find it difficult to behave in his usual manner.
Have a happy day!

Thanks everyone! You guys are amazing! I feel so much better since he is no longer employed there.
It also feels great knowing that my boss likes me that much to stick up for me. Too many times bosses do not stick up for their employees.
