Super Bowl XLIII Pick
Well on the championship games 2 weeks ago I was 1-1 on the wins and 0-2 on the spread, ouch not the best picks for me oh well. After watching all of the media coverage of the pointless interviews with relatives of the players and even ball boys, no I'm not kidding about that, I learned that no one truly knew what is going to happen tomorrow.
I'll be honest, I was never on the Arizona bandwagon, I thought they would lose every week but they got momentum on their side something that can always be used to win it all no matter what the sport. Most ESPN analysts say they have Pittsburgh winning but they wouldn't be shocked if Arizona won, they're trying to look right no matter what happens in the game.
I was reading a non-sport magazine, Entertainment Weekly, and in their little blurb on what to watch Sunday 2/1/09, they say that the Steelers will easily win their sixth Super Bowl but why would I take sport advice from an entertainment magazine?
The spread for the game remained consistent at 7 in favor of Pittsburgh. And now for the pick I'll go with Arizona for the spread and Pittsburgh for the more important win. I'm expecting a close moderately low scoring game.

At first I thought Pittsburgh might win by like 1 point, though I supported Arizona. But after Warner has had little success, I say Pittsburgh now will for sure win. But we'll see, Pittsburgh has a lot of close calls for TDs.
And the halftime show was actually good and he sang really well.

Yeah I thought The Boss did a pretty good job at halftime. I thought he even did better then Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers last year and that was quite the show.
Excellent game and the Steelers managed to win the game 27-23. Kind of funny Warner had MVP stats but didn't get the ring for his team. Both teams did a good job even though they were both a little sloppy on penalties.

I agree I really hoped Arizona would win. But I believe that the officials were calling cheap shots against the Cardinals The cardinals have never been to a super bowl so they could have been a little nervous. But, the Steelers probably paid the officials. Man those penalties were brutal and if the officials would have called only half of them the cardinals could have won but over all it was a pretty good turnout i thought the cardinals won the ring toward the end but the steelers caught right back up and won the glory.
