United States Military

I am interested in how our military defends us and how we keep it together as a country. Of my two grandfathers, one was in the Army, the other in the Navy. My uncle was in the Air Force. The USAF is my favorite branch of our military. I'd like to here from you! What's your favorite branch of the US military?

  • I'm going with the Navy, because my Dad and Uncles served there. I have a Grandson in the Air Force.

  • I really wanted to go into the USAF myself, and use that as a stepping stone to becoming a space shuttle pilot. Although my dad's an Army man, I've always been partial to the Air Force.

  • Navy for me. My father is a veteran of WW2, and he was serving on the Destroyer USS Dale when Pearl Harbor was attacked.

  • I would imagine that it would be the USAF. I love the air force and my husband was in the Royal Canadian Air Force for 20 years. He is an airframe/aero engine mechanic and works on the Canadian Snowbird tutor aircrafts. I have a quiz on those on line. My dad was in the Royal Canadian Army Corps and fought in WWII, so were many of my uncles. Fortunately, they all survived the war!
If I could have been in the airforce, I probably would have wanted to be a fighter pilot. I absolutely love the world of aircraft!
