Today's Update
I am feeling a little better today. Face is still a bit
puffy, but doesn't hurt and thankfully hasn't gotten any worse. (I was really scared.)
The medicine is a high dose of the strongest antibiotic available for this type of infection, and while it has left me rather
washed out, it is doing its job.
The Furry Ones have been doing their best to keep me entertained. Today they have begun charging at each other like two crazed bulls in the same ring. Usually, one used to pounce and the other was the victim, so this is something new. They tangle briefly, then both go rolling and skittering across the kitchen floor. It is hilarious!

I'm glad it's helping, and the cats do sound like fun. Who needs a telly!
Any news on your medical card? Is there any point phoning them and telling them you need it urgently?

Nope. When I was still homeless and trying to get Disability, my worker and I both tried to explain that it was an emergency. The response: "EVERY case is an emergency, Ma'am."
But you are right - I don't miss my television at all!

I pleased you're not any worse Beth. "Spare" antibiotics are always useful! :)
How good are the Furboys?
