Bombastic Blurbling Blog by Blethar

Throughout my life, my dreams have always seemed to be events that could occur in real life. I've had three about the game "Lemmings" (when I was little, my mother played it a lot). Recently I've had three about the game "Tomb Raider: Legend" which shows that even on a subconscious level, I'm a computer geek. I've also had some about large and astonishingly varied supermarkets. I've had a few surreal ones, but they seem to have been fantasy takes on everyday events.

Last night, however, presented me with one of the best dreams I've had. It too was normal, but special to me.

I shall 'splain: Recently, I've been consumed with a hate for a girl I go to school with, named Kristina. She's hypocritical, arrogant, condescending, self-obsessed, vain, and could be described with a number of other epithets. I've never tried a full-on argument with her, because she'd either shout me down, or throw something totally irrelevant in my face, and because I'm not so good on the comeback side.

So when I slide into an incredibly realistic dream in which I argue with her eloquently, stand my ground, and almost bring her to tears, I feel re-he-heally good about myself.

Yes, it's utterly pathetic and cowardly, but I don't care!

Apparently I dream about 'Casualty' last saturday night I shouted "stand back charging" in my sleep! I have no recollection of my dream shame as I may have saved someone's life...

I had one where I told off all the people at work who never do their work or do it and think they're worth thirty bucks an hour while telling me I'm not doing a good job. I have a similar problem to Blethar's--not being able to argue "to their face" and so not trying it in person. In my dream, they were all shocked that I could talk back because I don't. I woke up afraid I had been fired...

I had a dream that I was stuck in a Spyro video game. I was Spyro. I know what your thinking. Anyway, I kept desperatly trying to escape this boring land of green grass and sheep that turn into butterflies, but alas I could not. I kept flying off the edge to try and kill myself so that I would wake up, only to find that the person playing the game had on an infinite life cheat. So I would respawn..and respawn..and respawn. I really don't remember how I managed to escape this deathtrap, but I'll bet my money that the person playing the game, the person who was torturing me, was my sister. I'll bet everything I have. :)
