Yeah! To the beach she goes...
My eight year old is headed to the beach with her Aunt and Uncle tomorrow. So, I'm going to clean what I fondly refer to as "trash central". Her bedroom.
I've left phone numbers to all my friends and family. If they don't hear from me, find someone with a backhoe to dig me out.
It's ugly in there.
It's the place where nightmares are created.
Things live in there...unnamed ugly things.
And I just know that all 14 Barbies, and the 1 Ken doll are in there somewhere doin' the "Wild Thing".
I think I'll get out my rosary...

Hiya crzyldync! I just did the same thing with my kids' rooms last week. I nearly gave up in my daughter's room. Needed a stiff drink and a lie down afterwards! My son's room is somewhere under a pile of guitar magazines, socks and boxer shorts, guitars and drum kit parts. Gotta love them though eh!
Take care, and watch out for Ken and the Barbies!

I remember cleaning my daughter's room when she was about 5yrs old, I found loads of little bits of tissue behind her bed, after cleaning them up I asked her where they had come from. "oh that's all the toilet roll I find stuck up my bum when I'm laid in bed" yes I quickly washed my hands. I'm glad to say that she doen't do it any more (I hope)....
