I might be backing off for a while.

There have been some issues here and I am caught in the middle of them.  It has really tempered my desire to play these games.  I need to step back and reassess a lot of things.  Tired of some of the sniping at me and why I choose to do the things that I do.  This is supposed to be fun, right?  Right now the fun has been taken away from me.  Maybe if I just leave for a little while, maybe I will enjoy it again.  Team just keep playing and have fun---Gats monitor the team for me.  Its time for a sabbatical.

  • It's just awful that you feel you need to leave for awhile. I know I don't know what's happening to you, but there have been times when I go through similar feelings of needing to stay away. Please don't stay away long!

  • Ummmm...Jerry!? Let's make this a short sabbatical, OK? You're the glue in our team and, darn it, we need you there. As for whatever's going on in terms of 'sniping' ~ it's truly a pity that people have to behave like that and a bigger pity that they have to behave like that on this site. You're far above such things so I know you'll shake this off and come back to camp soon. To heck with the riff raff, yes?

  • I don't know what's going on in your team either, but a leader has to take the flak at times from people determined to challenge their authority. Stand firm and don't let them put you off or they've won. Let them try and run the group if they think you aren't doing it right, they'll soon back off.
