Time Penalty = 1 * seconds taken
Maximum score due to correct questions is 2000 points.
Maximum Time Penalty is 600 points (600 seconds, or 10 mins).
In other words, 20/20 after an hour of research will give you a score of 2000 - 600 = 1400. 20/20 in two minutes scores you 2000 - 120 = 1880 points. 18 or 19 correct in a short period of time earns more points than 20 correct in a long period of time.
