Christianity. Approximately 70 percent of Kenyans are {Christians;} about 25 percent are adherents of indigenous {religions;} 6 percent are Muslims. Among the Asian community there are Hindus, Sikhs, Parsees, and Bahai's. Although traditional beliefs and practices vary among Kenya's ethnic groups, almost all involve belief in an eternal, omnipotent creator envisaged as remote from men. The Kikuyu's god is named 'Murungu' or (more frequently) 'Ngai', a loan-word from Masai. Ngai cannot be seen, but is manifested in the sun, moon, thunder and lighting, stars, rain, the rainbow and in the great fig trees that serve as places of worship and sacrifice.

You simply use the ugali or chapati to pick up the sukuma wiki and then you put it in your mouth to eat it. It is considered rude if you do not wash your hands prior to the start of the meal.

American. The bomb attack was directed against the American Embassy which then was situated in the heart of Nairobi. Over 200 people were killed most of whom were innocent Kenyans. The embassy has since relocated to the outskirts of Nairobi. Kenya was recently a victim of another terrorist attack last year in Mombasa which was targeting Israelis in a tourist hotel. This time the casualties were fewer, nevertheless more innocent lives lost.
The Ghost and the Darkness. "The Ghost and the Darkness" is a movie based on a true story of lions who attacked and ate people at what is know the expansive Tsavo national park during the construction of the Kenya - Uganda railway. It is rumoured that descendants (lions) with the same genes can still be found at the Tsavo Park.
