Susannah . He is having post traumatic stress from seeing his brother die in front of him and not being able to forgive himself, so he goes a little mental. The scene opens with Susannah lying next to him in bed and he was injurned and she went to touch his face when he freaked out.

Aidan Quinn . Aidan Quinn is known as a very versatile actor, and he plays Alfred wonderfully in this movie. Also played male lead in the Sandra Bullock movie 'Practical Magic'.
Isabel . Isabel Two is the daughter of a worker on the Ludlow farm, but named after Tristan's mother, Isabel.
suicide. She shoots herself with a pistol near the end of the movie.
Ludlow. If you picked 'Decker' you were close....that is the last name of some other characters in the movie, but not the main family.
Christina Pickles. Christina Pickles has been an actress for many years. In addition to her film work, she has also guest-starred on television shows such as 'Friends' and 'Bonanza'.
Stab . Well, it's not really him because "he wouldn't lower himself to speak English", but he is telling the story behind the movie.
Stab. He doesn't speak any English. He does, however, understand it. Pet speaks very little.
Tristan's Lady. She's in love with Tristan and tells Susannah she's going to marry him when they first meet.
happy. She was freaking out because Tristan blew her off in a weird letter and then Col. Ludlow yelled at her because he was angry about what Alfred said to him.
20 . Albert thought it was ridiculous that they got married, saying "She's like a sister to us!" Susannah was really depressed when she heard and even more so when they had a child.
