Visually challenged fiends. Rizzo: "It's some kind of a blind fiend!"
Gonzo: "I believe they prefer 'visually challenged fiend'." Hehehe!
Mr. Bimble. Smollett: "The ship's cook--and a man who lives in a bear's finger--hired the crew!?"
Three. Old Tom, Real Old Tom, and Dead Tom.
First Pirate: "Dead Tom is dead! Long John shot him!"
Second Pirate: "But Dead Tom's always been dead. That's why he's called 'Dead Tom'!"
The crew is questionable. During the "alcohol controversy", Young Squire Trelawney keeps throwing glasses full of alcohol out the window. The vacationing rats complain that it's peeling the paint off of the shuffleboard courts.
Scottish. He has a broad Scottish accent. Bones is played by actor Billy Connolly, who was born in Glasgow, Scotland. (Thanks to huskyhaley for this information section).
Clueless Morgan and Mad Monty. They stretch Gonzo on the rack before they are caught, who is thrilled because he may have a future with the NBA.
Spa'am. Hormel Foods Corporation (makers of Spam) sued the film production company over this, but were defeated September 22, 1995.
None of these. The part of Jim Hawkins was played by Kevin Bishop, who is a human.

A tribute to the late Jim Henson. Rowlf is considered Jim Henson's signature figure. Upon his death, it was said that Rowlf would never be used again, but they settled for giving him soundless cameos.
Tim Curry. He makes a very convincing pirate!
lifeboat . This is when Long John Silver got the keys to the Captain's office.
a compass. Long John Silver forcefully took Jim's compass to find the treasure.
In an apple barrel. Gonzo and Jim were eating apples when Long John came into the room and discussed the upcoming mutiny.
Spanish dubloons. Her dubloons necklace gave away the fact that she had the treasure.
Captain Billy Bones. Benjamina Gunn dated everyone but Billy Bones.
gun . Long John Silver had a pistol against which the pigs' spears and arrows were no match.
Seven. Jim was seven when his father, a first mate, was killed at sea.
Brian Henson. Brian Henson took over the role of director after his famous father Jim died in 1990.
The Hispaniola. Jim Hawkins hires the great ship to help find the treasure.
Kermit . Kermit the Frog starred in the role as the good captain. Steve Whitmore was the voice behind the frog as well as Beaker and Rizzo.
Mr. Bimble. Mr. Bimble helped Long John Silver hire the questionable crew.
Frank Oz. Jim Henson had spotted Frank Oznowicz (his real name) at a puppeteers' convention when Frank was 17. As well as being a principal in Muppet productions, he played Yoda in the "Star Wars" trilogy and Bert, Grover, and the Cookie Monster on "Sesame Street".
Kevin Bishop. This was Kevin's first role in a movie; he was 16.
tells him it would be wise to check for leaks. Samuel Erroll, ever the safety nut onboard, decides it would be wise to check how safe the lifeboats are at the encouragement of Long John, who then casts Mr. Erroll off to sea.
a rat cruise line. "Be sure to have your checks made out to 'Rat Cruises Limited'. Remember: we put the 'rat' in 'pirate'!". Rizzo does this so "the voyage won't be a total loss...financially speaking".
half baked potatoes. When Rizzo, Gonzo, and Jim are arriving at the Trelawney house, a woman is selling "lovely half baked potatoes" to passersby. She is only in the scene for a short minute, so you have to look really closely to see her.
Mr. Bimbo. Mr. Bimbo, the man who lives inside Young Squire Trelawney's finger, hires the crew at the advice of Long John. Captain Smollett, before he finds out who hired the crew, exclaims that "This is undoubtedly the seediest bunch of cutthroats, villains, and scoundrels I have ever seen!". Did you really think Long John Silver would recommend anyone else but his fellow pirates?
Mr. Bimbo. "Mr. Bimbo is the man who lives inside my finger. He is very smart. He's been to the moon. Oh..twice!."
Frank Oz, the puppeteer who did Fozzie's voice, hated the Mr. Bimbo jokes at the start of production. By the time the movie wrapped, Mr. Bimbo had become his favorite ongoing joke.
