John. This is one of the funniest scenes in the movie. Mitch does everything young Judd Nelson did, from dressing like a rebel, to mouthing off to Paul Gleason, to getting himself into more and more detention.
Jake threw a touchdown pass when he should have run the clock out in a game the previous year. The coach can never forgive Jake for throwing that touchdown pass to Marty, the geek who couldn't play football, and getting Marty killed when he should have just taken a knee and run the clock out.

5. Jake advised Reggie Ray to take it easy for Friday night's game. However, the new starting quarterback, Austin, enters and says, "Don't listen to him, Reggie Ray!" He then opens his locker into Reggie Ray's head, now making 4 more concussions to go.

English. After Ricky gives Janey her birthday present, a mixed tape, she throws it into her locker and tells him, "See you in English!"
FlthyRich. Jake's family was filthy rich, and Janey's was "Dirt Poor", according to her dad's license plates.
Jocks. Although the tour guide first said "At John Hughes, you're accepted for who you are, not who you hang out with", he splits the tour up into groups, which include the jocks, the nerds, and girls. You'll also notice a sign in the background that reads "Welcome Prospective Cliques".
She's All That. We see Janey Briggs watching this movie in the opening scene. Her character is based on Laney Boggs, played by Rachel Leigh Cook, from "She's All That". The plot of the movie also revolves around the plot of "She's All That".
untrue. Although her mom is dead, she looks at her child-like painting of her mom as she asks this question.
Jake. Jake: (mimicking Freddie Prinze, Jr. from "She's All That") "If I could go back, I never would have made that bet."
Janey: "What bet?"
Austin: "I never said anything about a bet."

the ball goes out of control, hits Reggie Ray, gives him a concussion, and kills him. Announcer: "That has to be the worst pass I've ever seen. Ever."
Wise Janitor: "What was that?!"

The Crowd: [silence]
his pass is intercepted and North Compton returns it for a touchdown. That touchdown gave North Compton a 24-21 lead in the 4th quarter, meaning it was crunch time for John Hughes High School.
he puts his helmet on backwards and walks into the locker room wall. Jake: "OK, just be careful. You only have three, (Reggie Ray runs into wall) two, more concussions left."
3. It says on the scoreboard!
Ricky. Jake just couldn't find the right words to say, so Janey said she'd love to go with him, leaving Ricky frustrated.
we resent that. Two girls, four eyes, no glasses, yeah, I guess they do resent that.
